Mariusz Chmielewski major of Polish Armed Forces and an assistant professor at  Cybernetics Faculty Military University of Technology. Member of the „Modelling, Simulation and Computer Decision Support in Crisis and Conflict Situations” research team headed by D.Sc. Ph.D. Eng. Andrzej Najgebauer, Professor of MUT.

Mariusz Chmielewski earned his Ph.D. in knowledge engineering for the dissertation titled: „Ontology-based indirect association assessment method using graph and logic reasoning techniques„. Since 2010, mentor of 5 ImagineCup Polish finals winning teams from MUT. His research is strictly connected with application of artificial intelligence methods for decision support tools in military and medical domains. In particular his interest have been aimed at biomedical sensors data and information fusion for disease health monitoring.

Author of almost 70 research papers and chapters in journals and conference proceedings . He is a lecturer of several courses at MUT: Mobile and Web technologies,  Event-based programming, Graph and network theory, Theoretical Elements of Computer Science. 

Mentor and leader of projects SENSE, SAPER, bodyGUARD and PULSE a set of sensor fused mobile applications for health threats identification and managmentŁ SENSE (Epilpesy), bodyGUARD (metabolic disorders, training), PULSE (cardiovascular diseases). Projects have been awarded several times on ImagineCup Competitions and on many Invention Fairs and Exhibitions.
