Vitaly M. Golomb immigrated to Silicon Valley as a child with his parents from the Soviet Union. Growing up in Cupertino, he got an early exposure to tech as a pre-teen intern at ParaGraph (best known for powering the Apple Newton). By 15 Vitaly was a full-time designer and the youngest employee in the history of Kinko’s. During the Dot Com peak, Vitaly ran the User Interface design team at a hot enterprise startup funded by HP, Flextronics, and Cadence while studying for his undergrad. He went on to serve as the CEO of a printing company through its subsequent acquisition.

In 2005 Vitaly founded Sputnik Integrated, a full service interactive design firm that quickly grew to three offices, won several awards, and landed projects with EA, Evernote, FedEx, HP, LookSmart, Namco, Stanford University, Datran Media, Oakland Raiders, and many startups.

Today Vitaly is the Founder and CEO of Keen Systems, a venture-backed Software-as-a-Service ecommerce platform for the $640B print industry. The company has been lauded by industry as well as top technology press and has quickly become one of the leading solutions in its category. In 2012, Keen won an “InterTech”, the top global print industry technology award.

Vitaly is the Executive Producer of European Venture Summit (June 20-21, 2013 – Kyiv, Ukraine) and Founder Community, a Silicon Valley entrepreneurship event series. He advises and consults technology startups as a Mentor at 500 Startups, the world’s leading seed venture capital firm; at Innovation Nest Accelerate based in Poland; TechPeaks in Italy, and as a Board Member of the Happy Farm Incubator based in Ukraine.

Vitaly has authored popular technology white papers and holds a US patent. He has trained with Jerry Wiessman, the top corporate presentation coach. He studied Communications at Santa Clara University, and earned a BA in Computer and Video Imaging from Cogswell Polytechnical College. Previously Vitaly served as the Entrepreneurship Director for Silicon Valley Innovation Institute and on the Board of United Nations Association and Business Council of Silicon Valley. Vitaly has guest lectured at Northwest Polytechnic University, Cal State Hayward and UC Berkeley. He has also spoken at AlwaysOn Summit, Business Radio Network, Code Social @ Rocket Space, DEMO Conference, Founder Community, Global Technology Symposium, Graph Expo, HP – Meet The Leaders, Integrated Print Forum, Jewish High Tech Society, Silicon Valley Innovation Institute, and Silicon Valley Venture Summit.
